Each one drives through an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic and all-wheel drive.

Dodge quotes 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds for the GT HEMI and 4.4 seconds for the R/T 392, and Launch Control is standard on the R/T 392 and SRT models. Towing reaches 7,200 pounds on the GT HEMI and 8,700 pounds on the R/T 392, SRT Hellcat or a GT HEMI with Tow 'n Go, all when properly equipped.

A built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot keeps passengers connected on the road to the lakeshore. A nine-speaker Alpine system with a subwoofer is the standard sound setup on most models, and the GT HEMI Premium and R/T 392 Premium move up to a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system powered by an 825-watt amplifier.

Plus and Premium versions of the GT HEMI and R/T 392 add Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, and LaneSense Lane Departure Warning Plus comes on the GT HEMI Premium, R/T 392 Plus and R/T 392 Premium. Dodge also updated the 2027 lineup with added security that makes unauthorized key pairing and key fob duplication harder.

Dodge added After Dark and Redeye to the palette for nine colors in total, and the SRT Hellcat Jailbreak unlocks more than 16 million build combinations. Plus and Premium trims of the GT HEMI and R/T 392 carry Stow 'n Place roof rails with storable crossbars for skis, kayaks or a cargo box.

GT HEMI and R/T 392 models seat seven, with a 60/40 fold-and-tumble bench in the second row and a 50/50 split third row, and Plus and Premium buyers can choose second-row captain's chairs instead. The SRT Hellcat is a five-seater that can add a third row. Cargo space runs from 17.2 cubic feet behind the third row to 85.1 with both rear rows folded.

Heated front seats, three-zone automatic climate control and remote start come on every Durango, which is welcome on a January morning in Kent County. Plus and Premium trims add Nappa leather, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats and a power sunroof.
